Smokeclaw didn’t know what to say. It was Whiteowl’s choice, if she wanted to go on a patrol she can, but he understood that she did sign up to become a queen. She was supposed to help with the kits, but there weren’t any kits.

"Um, so what else should we do about this problem? Maybe another clan or something is taking our prey," He said breaking the forever lasting silence. He wasn’t sure if something was taking their prey, but he didn’t find any unusual scents in the territory. It’s just an assumption. His dark tail swayed from side to side.

Summerstar watched Darkfrost, it wasn't that bad. Whiteowl was right, there was many kits. "I'm glad that you want to help." she purred. It would mean a little more chance on getting prey. The calico turned her head to face Smokeclaw. "We can only hope that prey would get better. Was there any scents that seemed out of place?" she asked him. That could be possible, but she doubt it. They would have known by now.

Smokeclaw shook his head in response to her question. There was no strange scents in their territory which is good. He wouldn't want to get into conflicts with another clan. It would just start blood shed, and everyone from Oceanclan is weak from the lack of fresh-kill. He really did hope that things will get better. So far things are going downhill really fast. What if things don't get better? What would they resort to then? He really didn't want to think about the worst of the worst. He shook his pelt, trying to clear his head.

Summerstar nodded her head and let out a sigh. "Well, the streams and river where frozen over. Maybe the fish will come around soon. The other animals should be coming back once the land starts to green up, it's just starting to get hotter here." she said, trying to hide that she was worried. She was the leader so it would be for the best.
