Ponycorn Adventure
Goldenkit looked at her father with confusion and shock. Her father here. How dare he protect her after the rejection from her mother. "No!" she yelled as she started to rip herself out of the mud and continued to run. She was going to run back to camp. Goldenkit didn't know the territory. The only way she knew was the way she came, but she refused to cross her father again. She ran. Ran. Ran until she... hit a tree... And fell unconscious. |

"NO!" the sharp, clear yell came from Spiritbreeze's own throat. He leaped off the fox, grabbed it's neck, shook it hard, and threw it against a tree, before bounding over to his kit and gasping. "No... please don't be dead... please... Darkfrost will be so sad... no..." he squeezed his eyes shut, roared, and tried to steady his fear and anger. Carefully checking her pulse, he breathed a silent sigh of relief as Goldenkit was still alive. He took hold of the black fur firmly in his shoulders, squinted, and barreled on through the dagger-sharp rain. |

Darkfrost heard the loud 'NO!'. She heard it alright. And that made her crumble to the ground. "I was too messed up in my anger... and now my precious kit might be dead..." |

Ponycorn Adventure Goldenkit lay limp in her father's jaws. She might as well be dead. The kit started to blink and she awoke. She felt jaws around her scruff and she actually hoped that she was in the jaws of the leader or better, a member of another clan. She couldn't see, she sight was blocked from the rain. She started to squirm. "Who are you?" her voice came out squeaky and light, but she was determined to tell, yet wouldn't try again.

Spiritbreeze grunted, but couldn't say anything thanks to Goldenkit in his jaws. "Father. Taking back to Darkfrost." he managed to say out of a mouthful of black fur. |

Ponycorn Adventure Goldenkit's eyes widened. "No!" she squeaked. Squirming harder, she protested and squealed. "No mother! No father!" The kit squirmed some more. Why didn't she die? Why didn't the fox kill her? Nursery stories whirled through her head. She could punish her father by making him kill her. He would go to the place of no stars. Goldenkit would be dead. But would be at peace. |

Spiritbreeze grunted and made his grip on Goldenkit's scruff tighter. "Darkfrost was angry - didn't mean to throw you out!" he almost yelled. |

Darkfrost heard the call, and was immediately enraged. How dare he hurt Goldenkit, her only kit? She pelted through the forest, rain slicking her pelt and making her seem like a shadow. She let loose a long growl, one that sounded like a fox and approached Spiritbreeze and Goldenkit. |

Spiritbreeze heard the growl, then immediately dropped Goldenkit behind him and leaped at the fox. "Come out here, fox-dung!" he yelled, eyes flashing. |

Ponycorn Adventure Goldenkit landed on the dirt ground. It wasn't soft and all her limps felt like snapping apart. Apparently there was another fox. Wow thought Goldenkit, I'm dying to a fox. She couldn't wait until she died, she would cry in the skies and blame her death on her dad. Happy times. |

Darkfrost growled again, then dodged her mate's sharp teeth and creeped around the clearing. She then snatched up Goldenkit, turned heel, and ran back to the camp. |

Spiritbreeze lurched around like a disabled dog, eyes swivelling crazily. He then focused, decided that the fox had left, and turned around to get Goldenkit... but she wasn't there. He stared for a moment, then let loose a long yowl of horror. "Gone... it's... she's... gone..." he muttered, flopping down onto the moss where his kit had lay before. |

"Hello, little one." Darkfrost breathed, relieved. Her little one wasn't dead after all. She heard the long yowl, and became nauseous with terror, which made her almost bang into everything on the path. But soon she broke into the walls of the camp, watched the cats gather all around her, then backed up and used the secret entrance into the Nursery to get in. Darkfrost set down Goldenkit, then curled around her protectively and fell asleep. |
